To be still more clear: _IF_ you award points for ShootOut goals, only the winning shoot out goal is counted. We are awarding stats on Shoot Out goals even though the NHL doesn't because of a high demand from our poolies, some of whom have complicated scoring rules and want to award some points for these types of goals. But they are a special type of goal. A shoot out goal only counts as a shoot out goal and does not also count towards the player's total goals. (i.e. an OT PP goal will add 1 to the player's Goals, Game Winning Goals, OverTime Goals and PowerPlay Goals, while a Shoot Out goal will only count as a Shoot Out Goal.)
We have logged the (many) requests to score ALL shoot out goals, not just the winner, but at the moment we only score the winner since it is the only one listed on the official scoring summary. It is unlikely that we will extend the stats to cover all shoot out goals the 2006-2007 season.
